In a glamorous evening at the Accra Conference Centre, the hardworking and dedicated trustees of the Children’s Foundation Ghana were honored with the prestigious 2024 International Africa Health care Award by the Zenith Global Health Network. Recognized as the Outstanding Team of the Year during the Awards Ceremony portion of a larger summit focused on Advances in population health – Tackling Inequities and Access: A One Health Approach, the foundation has played a pivotal role in raising substantial funds allowing over 220 children to receive fully funded lifesaving open heart surgeries.
On behalf of the Children’s Heart Foundation-Ghana trustees, I extend our deepest gratitude to Zenith Global Health Network for bestowing upon us the prestigious International Africa Healthcare Award 2024 as the outstanding team of the year. This esteemed recognition fills our hearts with immense joy and pride, affirming our unwavering commitment to providing life-saving surgery to children in need.
For over 13 years, The Children’s Heart Foundation- Ghana, has been a beacon of hope for families facing the daunting challenge of affording open-heart surgery for their children. We also extend our sincerest appreciation to our sponsors, donors, and supporters whose generosity and compassion for our child beneficiaries have been the cornerstone of our success. Their unwavering commitment to our cause has enabled us to continue our mission and make a tangible difference in the lives of many children and families. Through their generous support we have been able to fund the surgeries of over 220 children, transforming their lives and igniting the flame of hope in their families’ hearts.
This award is not just a recognition of our efforts, but a testament to the power of collective compassion and the impact it can have on the world.
